Membership There are 588 Active and 66 Associate members, for a total of 654 members, making SI Lodge #120 one of the largest sub-lodges in NYS. Sixty-nine members are in arrears for 2026. If you have not yet submitted your dues, please do so.
Lodge Welfare Please keep in your thoughts and prayers the sick members of the Lodge, Bob Coppolino, Jimmy Gaynor, Mike Gaynor, Bobby Kwiecinski, Bob Prindle, John Spano, Frank Whalen, Dan Yagos, Marty King and his son Rory, Joanne Arabia wife of Ron Arabia, Jean Nutley wife of Brian Nutley, Linda Vanger wife of Al Vanger, Antonio Fernandez grandson of Tony Favara and the deceased members who passed away in 2025 Jerry Castigliola, Tony DiPalma, Joe Esposito, Dan Grossane and John Kimball.
Lodge Rookie Club Every Lodge member is entitled to a check of fifty dollars for the birth of a child, granchild or great-grandchild born in the calendar year. Lodge Scholarship Program The Lodge Scholarship Program is open to all members’ children and grandchildren. The six winners of the Lodge scholarships were randomly drawn at the November membership meeting. The winners are
- Jimmy Quinn Memorial Scholarship ($1,000), high school, winner is Kaylee Fung, daughter of Kenny Fung
- City of Heroes Scholarship ($1,000), high school, winner is Christopher Spano, son of Matt Spano
- Jaquelyn A. Fleming Memorial Scholarship ($1,000), high school, winner is Scarlett Serdaros, daughter of John Serdaros
- Bill Koniosis Memorial Scholarship ($1,000), college, winner is Matt Spano, son of Matt Spano
- CJA Tax Services LLC Scholarship ($1,000), college, winner is Viera Armengol, daughter of Arme Armengol
- Barbara E. Glass Memorial Scholarship ($1,000), college, winner is Margaret Grasso, granddaughter of Louis Anemone
I want to congratulate all of the winners and to especially thank the following Lodge members for endowing the scholarships: Charles Attanasio, Bob Glass, Julia Koniosis, Kevin O’Connor, and Joe O’Toole.
Lodge Holiday Raffle The winners of the Lodge Holiday Raffle (blue tickets) were randomly drawn at the December Membership meeting. We awarded five prizes of $500 each for a total of $2,500. in prize money. The five lucky winners are: Robert Ariola, Charles Goffredo, Julia Koniosis, John Perrone, and Scott Ralko. Congratulations members. I would also like to thank the 250 members who supported the Lodge by purchasing raffle tickets.
Lodge Holiday Dinner The Lodge held our first Holiday Dinner at the Staaten. It was a great success with 112 members attending, and a good time was had by all. We will be continuing this event and have booked the Staaten for our 2026 dinner on Thursday, December 3, 2026.
