Membership There are 545 Active and 64 Associate members for a total of 609 members, making us one of the largest lodges in NYS. Thirty-four Active members still owe dues for 2025.

Lodge Rookie Club The newest members of the SI Lodge #120 Rookie Club are Vivienne Grace Gorski, granddaughter of Bob Carney; Everly Loren Gise, granddaughter of Bruce Gise; Elizabeth Maringella Fleming, granddaughter of Liz Fleming; and Summer Leish Sydlo, granddaughter of Pat Logan. Congratulations members.
NYS FOP College Scholarship The NYS FOP College Scholarship application for the Fall semester of 2025 may be downloaded from their website at nysfop.org under the benefits tab. The due date for submission is 4:00 p.m. on April 30, 2025, at their Hicksville, Long Island, office. Due to SI Lodge #120’s financial support of this program, we are guaranteed to have two $500 scholarship winners chosen, so it is worthwhile applying for your child.
Medicare Advantage Lawsuits The appeal for the Bianculli Case regarding the $15 copayments is scheduled for a May 2025 court date. The Campion Case, related to Adm. Code 12-126, was heard by the NYS Court of Appeals on October 15, 2024, and no decision has been rendered at this time.
JetBlue Raffle The Lodge will be mailing out raffle tickets to win two JetBlue travel vouchers for travel anywhere in the JetBlue system. The tickets are $10 each or three for $25.The raffle will be held at our membership meeting on June 12th. Winners need not be present. The winner of the vouchers may transfer them to a 3rd party if they wish. Good luck.
